Ryan walked toward the school pulling Alex along with him. He grinned as they walked out the castle to the lake. He walked them on the far side of the lake where no one would bother them. He stopped walking and faced Alex. She was beautiful and he missed her. He leaned closer wrapping his arms around her waist. He kissed her pushing her toward him.

Ryan had to practically drag Alex towards the lake. A stiff smile held on her face, she would much rather hole herself up in a corner of the library and write that afternoon. Now don't get confused, Alexandra was happy to be back at Durmstrang and happy to be with Ryan again... but it was that word happy. It was something that was just so hard for her to achieve lately. The happiness she did feel lightly then tasted bitter to her lips.
The two walked for sometime, along the lake's edge, over to a section not many ventured to. Possibly because the water got so deep here, so fast. Ryan was facing her now, drawing her gaze from the water and towards him Alex watched as he leaned towards her and began to kiss her. The arms that wrapped around her were strong and steady, attributes Alex longed to feel withn herself again.
Trying to push the thoughts away Alex held her hands loosly at Ryan's lower back, letting him hold her tight. Happiness slowly began to spread, it little bits that felt bitter and foreign to her. Why couldn't she let go? A single tear rolled down her cheek as she kissed Ryan back.

Ryan kissed her soft and slow. He wanted her to feel good and happy. He knew one thing about what happen to her. It made her sad and he hated to see. It hit a deep wound of the tears that Lolita cried when his father would treat her badly. He couldn't help Lolita before now. He couldn't stand back and watch the things with Alex. It was different with Alex of course. She was feeling a different pain then Lolita did.
Ryan pulled his lips away slowly. He gave Alex little kisses. He saw her tear. He wiped it away. "What is it Alex. You can tell me," said Ryan.

The words repeated in her head pounding away at a wall they could not seem to break down. Alexandra slipped out of Ryan's grasp and lowered herself to the grass. Sitting cross legged she looked out towards the water. No you can't. The sound of another voice sounded. This voice was faded as if it was from a memory, which it was, but it still sounded clear and strong. What was odd was that there was another voice in her mind that said those words with it. No you can't. And it was her own.
"What if I couldn't?" Alex asked slowly, in a quiet voice. Her clouded eyes finally left the lake and looked up towards Ryan. After speaking her throat felt restricted, as if it had been strained by the few words. She looked up at Ryan for some time but then looked away, back the water, why she didn't know.

Ryan looked at Alex puzzled. He sat down next to her and sighed. "You can tell me anything unless you swear that you wouldn't tell a soul. I'm here for Alex. Always," said Ryan. He meant every word of it too. He was pretty much in love with the girl and she seemed so far from him. He hated it like no other but he didn't want her to feel if he said so. He smiled devilishly at her kissing her.
